Our decisions have consequences, outcomes that are often insignificant, usually harmless. But some decisions have the potential to change your life forever. Setting in motion a series of events that not only impacts you but everyone around you. This is called The Ripple Effect.
Today's youth face modern challenges - minefields of difficult decisions about drugs, alcohol, diversity, sex, violence and behavior. The Ripple Effect is a documentary exploring the challenges and consequences of decision making for today's youth, particularly how the use of drugs and alcohol impacts one's ability to make positive choices. The Ripple Effect is an emotionally charged, provocative film revealing real life stores of decisions gone wrong.
About the Film
After a year of research and dozens of interviews, The Ripple Effect is in production and will be released in September 2005.
The Ripple Effect was conceived by the Safe Grad/Party Committee of Brantford, Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk, a not-for-profit group comprised of local organizations and agencies. Roger Duck of Digital Duck Inc. was recruited to co-write, shoot and produce the documentary.
